Ben Whipp (javelin) and Harry Coppell (pole vault) U17M were both selected to represent England at the UK School Games which took place at The Olympic Stadium last week. They both gave the performance of their lives with Ben coming 4th with a season’s best and missing bronze by just 16cm!! Harry took gold and went on to get a new pb of 4.60 m.
And what makes the results more impressive is that this took place in atrocious weather conditions.
