NoEAA Senior Indoor Championships (Sheffield, 29th/30th January 2005)

Sharon Walls carried on from where she left off in the outdoor season by winning her main event the 60 metre hurdles in a time of 8.63. She also finished 3rd in the 60 metres with a time in the final of 7.91 (she ran the fastest time of the event in winning here semi final of 7.84)

Jane Chadwick, who competed in the Under 20 competition the previous weekend ran in the 60 metres. She reached the semi finals and finsished 6th in a time of 8.17.

Michelle Sharrock competed in, and won, the pole vault with a vault of 3.40 metres.

Helen Taylor competed in the 200 metres where she finished a creditable 2nd in a time of 24.78 seconds and Shona McPherson finished just behind Helen in third place in a time of 25.61.

For the men, Chris Bryant gained a respectable fourth place in the 800 metres finishing in a time of 1m 57.30s. Danny Hind reached the semi finals of the 400 metres. Finally Neil Hewson was another one to just miss out on a medal as he finished in fourth place in the 200 metres final - his time being 22.56.
